I built a design system for HER's iOS and Android apps to support the design team and streamline their workflows.
HER is the world's largest dating and community-building platform for the LGBTQ+ community around the world. I worked with the Head of Design to kickstart a design system. Previously, there wasn't a design library to reference. The lack of a source of truth created design debt and took extra design time to clean up.
The Figma design system I created contained all the elements that would be easy to grab while designing – color and icon system, components, default screens, support for dark/light mode, and different languages.
I did an audit of the current app and identified reusable components and their states.
I also delivered the design system with usage and guidelines.
