I created Mulberry's Design System from scratch to document the growing suite of products, and to ensure a consistent design language.
I created a design system as Mulberry scaled and a new designer joined the team. We needed a source of truth so that our designs were using a consistent design language and we knew what we could reuse. The design system also had to support a suite of products: SDK, dashboard, and the browser extension. The system had to be flexible for new feature development and also become a source of truth for engineers.
The Approach
